At the bottom of the post you will find the links to visit the rest of my friends on the blog hop. We hope you are inspired to create an alternate project or two with your November 2021 "Gifts Galore" Paper Pumpkin kit.

This month I created a z-fold card with a couple items from the Gifts Galore kit and then I added a few extra supplies.

Directions:

Poppy Parade Cardstock  5-1/2" x 8-1/2." Score the 8-1/2" side at 4-1/4" and 2-1/8." Fold as shown in picture.

Cut 2 pieces of Flirty Flamingo Designer Series Paper at 1-7/8" x 5-1/4." Adhere to the z-fold panels as shown in picture.

The inside layer is Basic White Cardstock cut at 5-1/4" x 4." Adhere to inside of card. Stamp sentiment with Flirty Flamingo ink.

Fold one tree panel (from one of the gift die cuts in the Gifts Galore Paper Pumpkin kit) in half and trim bottom of tree off about 1/2" with paper snips to fit front of card. Attach left half to tree to the front flap of the z-fold card.

Cut out 2 gifts from one of the gift die cuts in the Gifts Galore Paper Pumpkin kit. Adhere to left front panel. The pool party gift is attached with a Stampin' dimensional.

Embellish tree and Basic White panel with Pool Party sequins from the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

I hope you have enjoyed my project. Each month my subscribers receive exclusive bonus video alternative card and project ideas - so make sure to stay subscribed.  Visit all the blogs on the hop below for more fun ideas.

PPX Crew Monthly Blog Hop - October 2021 Peaceful Christmas alternate project

Welcome to the PPX CREW Monthly Blog Hop! Every month we provide exclusive video projects that feature the current Paper Pumpkin kit to our subscribers. As an extra bonus we also have a monthly blog hop that features alternative projects that we have created using the current kit. To learn more about Paper Pumpkin and to subscribe please click the shop button at the top of the screen. At the bottom of the post you will find the links to the rest of the blog hop.

                                            Peaceful Christmas Gift Card Holder

Here are the directions:

Card Base:
Real Red cardstock: 8 1/4" x 3 3/4" Score at 2", and at 3 3/4" (Fold score lines to center of card)

Shaded Spruce Checked Patterned Paper - 1 3/4" x 3 1/2" & 2 3/8" x 3 1/2" Attach to front flaps of card.

Using Tear and Tape adhesive adhere edges of larger flap to card base to create gift card pocket.

Card Insert:
Basic White cardstock 2 7/8" x 3 1/2" Stamp trees on top of card with Shaded Spruce ink

Belly Band:

Real Red cardstock 1" x 8 1/2"

Shaded Spruce Check Print - 7/8" x 8 1/2" I used the envelope flaps that I had leftover from other alternate projects and trimmed pieces to 7/8" and attached them to the Real Red cardstock with Stampin' Seal adhesive. You can also use Shaded Spruce cardstock if you want to save your envelopes for another alternative project.

Wrap layered belly band around closed card and attach ends with Tear and Tape Adhesive on the front side of the card so the circle layer will hide the ends. Trim as needed.

Real Red Sheer Ribbon - wrap around belly band layer and tie a bow.

Using the circle punch from the kit flip it over to the white side and stamp sentiment and trees with Shaded Spruce ink. Attach to belly band with Stampin' Dimensionals. Making sure that it doesn't attach to the gift card holder.

Embellish card with Subtle Simmer Sequins.

Blackberry Beauty Easel Fold Card

Welcome to my blog! I am so excited to begin this new journey with you. I have been a Stampin' Up!© demonstrator since 2018 but have now ventured into sharing my business and creative outlet online.

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing more about me, weekly card tutorials, tips and tricks to stamping, and building my online gallery of cards that I have created. I hope to inspire you to make a card and send a card.

I live in sunny Southern California. We have had a long hot year so far but this week the weather is cooling a little bit. Well below 80 degrees is kind of cooling right? So anything that is "fall" or "fall like" is a big hit.

I just love the Blackberry Beauty suite of product from the Stampin' Up!© 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. The designs in the stamp set and the dies are so pretty for fall. The color combination of Rich Razzleberry, Cinnamon Cider, and with the pop of gold foiling in the designer series paper is just gorgeous.

Here is one of the cards I created with this suite. It is a fun fold easel card.

Here are the supplies that I used:

Blackberry Beauty DSP #156458

Brushed Metallic cardstock (gold) #153524

Rich Razzleberry cardstock #115316 and Stampin' ink pad #147091

Cinnamon Cider cardstock 153078

Very Vanilla cardstock #101650

Beauty of Tomorrow Stamp and Die Set Bundle #156819

Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon #156470

Cutting measurements:

  • Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
    • 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4” and 2 1/8"
  • Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
    • 4” x 5-1/4”
    • Scraps for die cutting leaves and layering label
  • Blackberry Beauty DSP
    • 3 3/4” x 5”
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock
    • 2” x 5-1/4”
    • Scraps for stamping label
  • Brushed Metallic cardstock
    • Scraps for die cutting leaves

Be sure to check back each day this week for more ideas and a fun blog hop that is happening this weekend using the September Paper Pumpkin Kit Haunts & Harvest.

Blessings,
Jenny
